LESSON 5 : Earth Day Nature Art

April 20-24


happy earth day!
This year Earth Day is on Wednesday April 22. All of these lessons and activities have the theme of nature in some way. Choose ONE OR MORE art activities for the week. You DO NOT have to do ALL of them. Complete the activity on your own or join us in during our art room zoom sessions this week.


TURN IN any completed artwork on ARTSONIA project title “WK5 - At Home - Nature Art”




Bugs, Beetles, and Insects


ACTIVITY 1: PK-3rd Explore different types of bugs and create a sculpture using homemade clay, store bought air dry clay, or even play doh. Paint/color it if you have the supplies. 

ACTIVITY 2: PK-6th Choose an appropriate level drawing tutorial.

ACTIVITY 1: PK-6 Go on a flower hunt! Capture close up photos of every kind of flower you can find. 3rd-6th Create a digital collage of all your flower images using keynote or any collage app. 


ACTIVITY 2: PK-6th Use any drawing or painting supplies to create artwork of a flower. 
OR 3rd-6th Use the sketches school app to create digital art of your flower.
